Celebrity weddings are mostly luxury. The ring is the exception.
We lined up 7 celebrity weddings and engagements from press reports: the dress, the ring and the venue. The dresses come from big houses. The rings mostly don't.
The dress: a big house, almost every time
Of the 6 weddings here, 5 brides walked down the aisle in a luxury house.

- Jennifer Lawrence: Dior (October 19, 2019)
- Sofia Richie Grainge: Chanel, 3 looks across the weekend (April 2023)
- Selena Gomez: custom Ralph Lauren, a satin halter (September 2025)
- Hailey Bieber: Off-White by Virgil Abloh (September 30, 2019)
The one outlier is Charli XCX, and even she went designer: a Vivienne Westwood mini at Hackney Town Hall (July 19, 2025).
One dress is not enough
The bigger the wedding, the more outfit changes.
- Hailey Bieber: 4 looks. A Vivienne Westwood mini the night before, Off-White for the ceremony (the veil read "TILL DEATH DO US PART"), Ralph & Russo for the reception, and a Vera Wang slip with Nike Air Force 1s for the after-party.
- Sofia Richie Grainge: 3 Chanel looks. Rehearsal, ceremony, reception. "S&E" and the date were sewn inside the wedding dress.
- Charli XCX: 3 looks over 2 weddings. Westwood at the town hall, a Saint Laurent mini for dinner, then a sheer Danielle Frankel gown for a second wedding in Sicily in mid-September 2025.
The ring: indie jewelers, not Cartier
This is where the luxury pattern breaks. Where press named the jeweler, it was an independent one, 4 for 4:
- Taylor Swift: Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry, an old mine brilliant cut (engaged August 2025)
- Sofia Richie Grainge: Stephanie Gottlieb, an emerald cut, about 5–6 carats
- Hailey Bieber: Solow & Co., an oval, reported at 6–10 carats
- Zendaya: Jessica McCormack, a 5.02-carat East-West cushion, per E!
Not cheap, just not a logo. Selena Gomez, Jennifer Lawrence and Charli XCX's jewelers haven't been named in press. Cartier does show up, but as Taylor's wedding-day jewelry, not the ring.
Still wearing it: the Academy Museum Gala (10/17)
At the Academy Museum Gala on October 17, 2026, the rings were back on the red carpet. Taylor Swift wore her Artifex ring with a Dior gown by Jonathan Anderson, the same house as her wedding dress. Sofia Richie Grainge paired her Stephanie Gottlieb emerald with an archival Versace dress from Spring 2001.
