Burgundy is the base
Brands are building the season on it: UNIQLO : C's fall-winter 2026 collection sets rich bordeaux, brown and charcoal as the base with flashes of lemon and blush pink (per fashion press, September). We don't have a burgundy sell-out on record yet, so no pick here until one shows up.
The fabric: cashmere
UNIQLO's $99.90 cashmere crew comes in 22 colors, and 8 sizes were already sold out across 2 of them on 10/12. Intimissimi's ultralight cashmere top had a size gone and 5 more running low (10/6).
The pattern: plaid
Pinterest's #1 spotlight trend on 10/12 was 'Plaid Sweater Styles', up 9,000% month over month in saves. That's a saves number, not sales, so no product pick yet.
