What sweaters are actually selling right now? (October 2026)

Nine knits and hoodies with dated proof from October: best-seller ranks, sold-out sizes and colors that came back and went again.

We only list a sweater when a store's own page showed it selling: a best-seller rank, sizes or colors sold out, or a restock that sold through. Here's what that looked like in October, cheapest first.

Under $50

Old Navy's wool-blend cardigan was $19.99 on 10/20; its Sheep colorway kept selling out and coming back, and on 10/30 it was $24.99 with XS to M left. Brandy Melville's Cameron Cropped Sweater ($28) was #4 in the store's best-selling sort on 10/7 and still had 4 of 10 colors sold out on 10/26. Urban Outfitters' Out From Under off-the-shoulder sweater ($49) was #4 in women's clothing by weekly units sold on 10/14.

$100 to $200

UNIQLO's $99.90 cashmere crew had 8 sizes sold out across 2 colors and 13 more low on 10/12. Polo Ralph Lauren's mesh-knit quarter-zip ($145) was sold out in black in every size on 10/3 and still on 10/26, with other colors available. Stüssy's Basic Hoodie in black ($130) was sold out in all 5 sizes again on 10/26. Beach Riot's fleece quarter-zip ($188) had S and M sold out at Urban Outfitters on 10/12.

The outlier

The new COOGI Texas crewneck costs $600, but "Coogi" was a rising Depop search on 10/20 and the sweater kept selling: 5 of 8 sizes were gone on 10/20 and 6 of 8 on 10/30, with only S and 5XL left.

How we pick: only things with dated proof that people want or buy them, never because we like how they look. Prices and sizes change daily; check the store before you buy.
